I’ve been delving more into location sound lately and it has been a blast! Especially hanging on set with @flagshipvisuals — they’re a solid crew 🤙🏻

Filming yourself is firstly really awkward. Secondly, it’s surprisingly difficult to do with any level of excellence. Camera auto-exposure will go rogue, auto-focus is sluggish leaving the shot out of focus, you’ll accidentally leave the kick light in the background (which in hindsight was a happy little accident as Bob Ross would say). I’m also trying out a new editing software which comes with its own learning curve 😬 BUT you take notes, learn and improve over time with repetition. If you feel stuck, you’re not alone — push forward!
