Elliot Strosnider, 16, of Vincennes, was last seen on Dec. 8 at 12:42 a.m. in Vincennes, according to the Missing People in America website, shared Dec. 9. She is described as 5’4” and 145 pounds with dyed black hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink tank top and red "Stranger Things" sweatpants.

Vincennes Police Department was unable to release any information at the time of this reporting. The VPD said public involvement and misinformation are hindering the active investigation.

Approximately 45 minutes ago, Knox County Scanner and ISP and DNR shared scanners had reported an accident with injuries on US 50 at 550 with entrapment. As of 10:38 a.m. one requested chopper is at the hospital and the other chopper has landed. Two patients have been extracted from the two-vehicle collision, with one patient on the ground - a total of three.

Will update as reports come in.

Edit: as of 11 a.m., Knox County deputies are still on the scene. More details will be released later from a press release by the sheriff’s department.
