I'm working with Gretchen Richert to put together the next William Richert memoir, this one will be called "The River Phoenix Letter", under the banner "Collected Richert Letters". It includes never-before-published recollections by Bill of River, and as Bil often did, contains receipts that River did not intentionally overdose that night at the Viper room, but was actually poisoned and Hollywood - his own family included - covered it up.

We're in layout and design now, thanks to Ryan Hose. Like EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE, this was an important part of Bill's life, setting the record straight about his dear friend.

The anxiety of releasing a new book for me has never been the writing or the editing, it's ALWAYS been the post-release. After months of promotion and marketing, it's always a crap-shoot once the book is released. I literally can't do anything else at this point but hope the market finds me.

As I've been yakking about for two years, I wrote an historical western novel titled THE MOSTLY TRUE STORY OF RUDABAUGH AND WEBB. It's about the friendship between an outlaw and a lawman and it's been largely untold in any major way. If Dave Rudabaugh is mentioned at all, its as "a member of Billy the Kid's Gang," which isn't accurate. Billy rode with Dave.
