I was so impressed with a Sophomore QB in the 2022 Winnersville Classic, that I immediately returned to our office and wrote the story on Valdosta QB Todd Robinson, and how he was about to enjoy a breakout career in his remaining time as the ‘Cats QB.
He did.
Now, after watching another sophomore QB this past season, I feel like we will be watching another breakout career for this young man in 2025 and 2026…and beyond.

Who am I talking about?
( Hint: He plays for a school south of Macon.

Our annual “Gator Bowl Takeover” at the 2025 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Thursday night. Each year ITG Next treats hundreds of high school players and coaches from Georgia and Florida with tickets and food. The schools only need to get the teams to the game- we take care of the rest.

🏆🦁 Our final 2024 rankings for Class 1A-3A Private sees the Hebron Christian Lions take the No. 1 spot for the first time all season! Hebron Christian head coach Johnathon Gess and his Lions doubled their wins from a year ago, finishing 12-3 overall and winning the school’s first ever state championship.

The state title game was a rematch against the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines after the Lions lost to the Wolverines in the regular season finale.

It was a revolving door all season long for the No. 1 spot in our Class 1A-Division II rankings as we saw several different teams occupy the top spot. But it’s the final No. 1 ranking that matters, and that’s where the Bowdon Red Devils stand after defeating Brooks County 34-14 in the state title game to win their third consecutive state championship! 🏆🔥

Toombs County made waves back in Week 3 by defeating the Class 5A Rome Wolves in a thrilling 33-29 game. What an unforgettable season! 👏

🏆🐅 The Carver (Columbus) Tigers finish the 2024 season as the No. 1 team in our Class 2A high school football rankings! After a tough loss early in the season, the Tigers roared back with a 12-0 run, clinching their second state championship in school history!

And props to Sumter County on an incredible comeback season! The Panthers end 2024 ranked at No. 10 and with a 10-2 overall record after a challenging few seasons. 🌟👏
