Prayers needed. Pharmacy called and told me that effective today they will no longer accept my insurance for ANY of my medications. I now have to either pay cash for all my meds, in excess of $6000 a month, or find a new Pharmacy. My pain meds and heart medications are due for refills tomorrow and I don't have the money to pay cash for them.
Pharmacies in my town, Utica, don't all carry one of my meds., my pain meds. So I'm screwed and will have to suck it up and be in excruciating pain from here on out. I'll call my oncologist and heart doctor tomorrow but I doubt they can or will do anything. When I wasn't able to get my pain meds before, my oncologists office refused to call around to find a Pharmacy who stocked the medication. They told me "if you want your meds you'll have to call around town and find a Pharmacy who carries it. We don't do that."
What do I do now???? Happy New Year to me, right???

Prayers needed. Ran out of my pain meds today, and I called TWICE for a refill and was basically told by the nurse “I’ll get to it when I get to it, I’m still working on refills for patients from Tuesday...”
So here I lay in bed in agony and no pain meds excuse me while I go cry...

Here is another Recipe from my collection. These are great for Christmas.

Br. Bills
Mistletoe Kisses

½ cup Shortening
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 ¾ cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 Egg
½ cup Peanut Butter
48 Chocolate Candy Kisses

Cream Shortening, Sugar and Brown Sugar. Add Egg, Peanut Butter, Milk, and Vanilla, Mix well. Sift Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt. Add wet ingredients to wet, mix until smooth. Shape dough into balls using Round Teaspoon. Roll Balls in Granulated sugar if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Remove and IMMEDIATELY top each Cookie with a Candy Kiss, press firmly.
Makes 4 dozen. DO NOT FREEZE. Will keep in a tightly sealed container.

Br. Bills Homemade Ranch Dressing/Dip.

2/3 Cup Mayo
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 Tbsp Freash Dill Finely Chopped, Or Dry Dill
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
Salt to taste, 1/4 tsp of Black pepper
Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl, chill in Refridgerator. Serve on Salads, Chicken Wings, Potato Chips, Or Bread boat. Lasts about 1 week in Fridge.
