1051 BOB-FM is the radio station that Panama City Beach listeners demanded: a station that doesn't have DJ’s that talk too much, and doesn’t play the same songs over and over again. BOB plays a wide variety of familiar music, centered on Pop/Rock hits from the 80's and 90's, as well as some songs from the 60, 70's and today. BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The National Life Jacket Loaner program was started in 2008 by the Sea Tow Foundation. Sea Tow auxiliary member Mike Fitzgerald applied for the grant that led to the addition of a station locally.
On Monday the local Sea Tow franchise kicked off the loaner program here, along with the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the City of Panama City. The life jacket loaner station will be located on the boat ramp at Carl Gray Park.

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – On October 7th, 2023 hundreds of Israelis were massacred at the Nova Festival in a Hamas attack.
Rom El-Hai went from dancing at the Nova Festival to ducking for cover. He spent hours listening to gunshots and those around him dying. Some of them were his friends.
He walked more than 3-miles from the festival area to the site where he was rescued. El-Hai says its terrifying when no one can help you, not even the police.
