Across the Clouds The author approaches the art of writing as a painter approaches a canvas. The story is told with a dry European wit that keeps the reader amused and engaged.

She chooses from a rich palette of words, pattern and colors to produce sentences which are intensely lyrical and will lead the reader unto an unfamiliar and extraordinary path. Like the greatest myths, there is a hero with almost supernatural powers who goes through the dark night of the soul to triumph and ultimately find the light. Each word is carefully chosen for maximum effect like a poem from one of the great masters.

Crossing difficult seasons throughout our lives is a painful process but we all know that more than often, these are the places where we grow the most. These are not "sentencing" times but "transitional" times that take us from who we were to who we are becoming... These are times to process our identity, to give free rein to the Holy Spirit to help us grow into grace and knowledge, to realize that we are going somewhere and to face forward and not backward.
"Although I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Thou art with me...." (Psalm 23)

Revelation knowledge is never birthed in activities, conferences and impartations but in the midst of silence, stillness, and solitude where one finds Him and Him alone, waiting for you and I. It is there alone that you can begin to see your own brokenness, your failings, your shattered dreams and thru His grace and love, begin to see yourself accepted and loved. It is there that you and I can begin to look forward to a place where your brokenness will be the very thing God will use in the lives and the hearts of people around you. Being human is being broken but it is also being loved and being accepted.

No need for words... Not knowing what lies ahead is a "spiritual classroom" that all of us have to enroll at some times in our lives! But if we submit to the curriculum, we will acquire the knowledge and the assurance that the Teacher already knows where we should go, what we should do and we will receive the heavenly reward which is His peace ... Patience is not only a learning skill but it is also a fruit of the Holy Spirit's life in us. Patience is more than often learned when we do not know... but choose instead to submit to the process, wait in silence and trust...

From the beginning of time, silence has always been the source of wisdom and divine knowledge and the things that are "real" are often given and received in the midst of silence. Even when God is silent, he is still speaking....

It seems like an eternity since I have posted anything and I thought that I will just share some of the photos that I took this summer. I am still recovering from a very bad fall, a copperhead finger bite and tularemia which is a rare bacterial infection caused by an infected deer fly!!! BUT I survived them all and as they say, I am still alive and kicking!!! More to come in the next few weeks...

As you probably have all noticed, I have not posted anything for quite a while. We are doing well and this past year spent at 3000 feet has been a time of reflection and silence which we both needed desperately at this time of our lives. As I said before, God often seems to use adversity to draw us closer to Him and learn from Him! It is never too late to "grow up" so as to leave aside the things that are totally unnecessary in our lives. Silence speaks and at times, it speaks loud and clear! We are once again at a turning point in our lives and this past year has been, in many ways, a preparation for what lies ahead. Three doors have opened and we are in prayer to discern where He would have us go. We are praying that His Holy Spirit would not only help us understand but also discern and know His way for this is a promise that He has given all of us... He is risen!

Our Story

Daniele approaches the art of writing as a painter approaches a canvas. More than just snapshots from moments past, her words take you by the hand and lead you unto an extraordinary path. She chooses from a rich palette of words, patterns and colors to create sentences and images that are intensely lyrical and harmonious. Her words dance magically across each page of her book “Across the Clouds”.
