Most senior portraits are kind of boring. They're generic, uninteresting, and predictable. It's always the same pose.. So when Breia contacted me to do a senior portrait I told her: "Are you willing to be adventurous? Because I don't want to do a boring photoshoot."
She traveled down to Harrisburg and we jumped into a canoe, paddling upstream for about 20 minutes before we arrived in the middle of the Susquehanna River, on a beautiful summer afternoon, and we got out onto this patch of mud and some grass.
My boots were caked in mud, everything got dirty, and the canoe was filthy when it was all said and done..
But the photos turned out to be one of my most favorite photoshoots that I've ever done. Here's a small snippet..
