Dylan Andrew is, among other things, a producer, DJ and tireless ambassador of the music and community of likeminded humans that drew him to his craft. Based in Southern California, Dylan has the passion stereotypical of his Argentinian blood, and a sound that is deeply rooted in Berlin. Focused on techno, minimal, and progressive, Dylan Andrew quickly established himself as a house and techno DJ
in the Southern California underground, club, and festival circuit, known for his dark, sultry and epic stories told through two channels of a mixer. He has been honored and humbled to be invited to share those stories at music festivals and nightclubs across the US, as well as Mexico, Costa Rica, Iceland, and Ireland. He is hell-bent to continue to combine his obsessions of music, world travel, and connecting with new faces, as an artist. Over the past two years, Dylan has propelled his artistry with a laser focus on his original productions. He has developed a distinct sound for his project, that is heavily influenced by his favorite Eastern European artists and the gritty, funky, psy, and cosmic elements of the music heard during the early morning hours of West Coast desert gatherings. This past year Dylan has had shining international releases with Berlin-based labels Jannowitz Records, Evil Flow (Phobos), and Jaw Dropping Records, and in February 2021 he released his EP “Hornet’s Nest” on LA-based Shadow Wulf Records, which includes a remix from one of his biggest influences, Maksim Dark. With his passion, commitment and the support of audiophiles and fellow artists alike, Dylan Andrew looks forward to continuing his growth as an artist and his relentless pursuit of human connection through music.

After a couple months of anxious waiting, I finally got to meet my niece. Chiara fits perfectly into my giant paws and nooks, and she made sure to melt me with those focused, piercing big beautiful eyes. It’s amazing to watch my little sister raise her new little nugget with her husband, and now I’m just eager to figure out when I can see them next. Uncle Dylan, it’s official. 👨🍼💕

It’s finally here! After recently getting to see the reactions to our first release with the Maksim Dark remix, Crescendoll and I have been eagerly anticipating the release of our new EP “Misbehave” on Alula Tunes! I have been playing tracks from this label for years (after Crescendoll forced them on me), including tracks from wizard and label boss Lampé. Today we are so stoked to announce the pre-release of our “Misbehave” EP, which includes a fantastic remix of our title track from none other than Lampé! We can’t wait for you to listen to these dark, drivey and sultry techno heaters and to see it make its way to dancefloors where they belong! It’s been so much fun and such a great experience for me making music with this savage - she has made me a better producer and kept me on my toes. We made this EP specifically for Alula and are elated that we were able to get them signed in the home they were designed for.

Humbled to have our track “Unique” released again on the Desert Hearts Black “Best of 2021” compilation. Memo Rex and I were so pumped on this track, and held out trying to find the right label. Marbs started playing it on his live streams and tour, and eventually signed the track. Thank you to Marbs, Desert Hearts Black, my co-pilot Memo, and for each of you who have supported this track! 🌵🖤🖤🌙✨

I was elated earlier this year to have “Close” released on SNOE Records (Berlin/Oslo) but was humbled even more to hear that it is being re-released on SNOE’s Best of 2021 Compilation called “Avalanche #1”! My co-pilot on this track Susio and I knew this track was special when we started it, and now it’s been validated as one of the top 14 releases from SNOE in 2021.

Excited to finally share the release of my latest track “Fridays” on Jaw Dropping Records based in Cologne/Berlin. This techno track is a collaboration with MIAME , a really cool dude who reached out to me after hearing some of my prior releases on Jannowitz Records, to combine our styles. This was my first time collaborating on an original track with someone in a different continent, and I was excited from the outset when I heard his sound.

Humbled once again, as Desert Hearts Black announced the pre-release of our original track “Unique” on Memo Rex's latest EP “Factions”. As they mention on their post, Marbs has been launching this our track on his tour and in his live streams throughout the pandemic, and we hoped it was only a matter of time before the track was signed. I was so stoked that Marbs and his team launched this label, since dark and melodic techno are my sweet spot, and was even more blown away when I saw the incredible artists they signed - including perhaps my favorite, Township Rebellion. Can’t explain how much it means to me to release with this label and with one of my best friends. I love both tracks on this EP, and we hope you do too!

The day has finally come! Our latest EP “Close” released today on SNOE, an incredible record label based in Berlin and headed by superstars Andreas Henneberg and Beth Lydi in Berlin and Oslo. This track was one of those that Susio and I knew from the first session was special. Getting to see Beth and Andreas go nuts during their live demo review stream on Facebook was a dream in itself, but to actually release on this label is surreal. The BONEB remix is fantastic, and I hope you give both tracks a listen and pick up a copy of you like it in the link in the comments below.
We are so excited to share this with you and to hear it ripping up dance floors this summer.

I always wondered what it would be like to collaborate with one of my superstar music heroes, or how amazing it would be to see/hear my music played out by other DJs around the world. I can confirm it is as euphoric as I anticipated. So grateful.
