“The Alexandria Project” is the actual title of the piece on which I’ve been working since early 2020. This has to do with the USPTO being located in Alexandria, Virginia, in the United States. It has to do with sleek spaces, and with government, and technology, and data. “Mid-Atlantic Cracker Prose” is a tone-setting counterpoint flavor on the drab side of fallen existentialism.

This off-the-cuff label has to do with distinction relative to the American literary traditions of New York, on the one hand, the South, on the other. Unlike the material falling the designation of "The Alexandria Project", which may in fact be a final title, and which is purer fiction, the material loosely grouped as "Mid-Atlantic Cracker Prose" is a catch-all aggregate of new vignettes tangent to autobiography. The two blocs do run concurrently, analogously, to some extent, and both make use of spreadsheets. Here and there, specifics cells within the respective "sheets" may match, and vary, so that the "cell" located at Column O - Row 23, on one sheet, will match, and vary, relative to the content analogously situated, on the other sheet. It is like a splitting between "proletarian existentialism" and some other sort of "genre literature", all tangent, connected, analogized, cell by cell.

Other than the slowly evolving « Simplement un tentacule », I am currently organising a growing array of anglophone vignettes. There is ideally a sleek component to the prose bits falling into "The Alexandria Project", something to do with action, and "information", maybe with shall I say "statist" activity, international or otherwise. The material is tangent to, though contrasted with, what I am calling "Mid-Atlantic Cracker Prose", more working-class, drably grim existentialism, at which I'm also plodding away.

Other solo activity is going on, and a collaboratively compiled bloc of work is also in progress.

The writer one of whom's works is displayed is Chris Coffman. For a short while years ago he toyed with the nom de plume "Mylan Alter". Derrick Hussey and I, among others, are interested in the tracking and furtherance of Chris Coffman's interdisciplinary creative legacy.)
