Who Is Conscious Carl?
I think I was always conscious, but there are aspects of society and our culture that try to beat that out of us. We work our jobs, we have our families, we watch TV...and that's pretty much it. Rinse and repeat. I was lucky enough to break that cycle and look more objectively at the world around me. For lack of a better term, I "woke up." Waking up was a beautiful experience. It bothers me when people say things like, "You need to wake up." Waking up shouldn't be lobbed as an insult. We should be here to help each other wake up, not bully each other into it. So that's what I want to do. Good morning, everyone.
