DJ Joe Garrido, also known as Z GrûvZ, embarked on his professional DJ journey in 1993, hailing from his hometown of Chicago. He established Neato Garrido Productions, Inc. as his initial DJ company. Over the span of a decade and having successfully orchestrated over 1500 events, he later rebranded his company to Garrido Productions, Inc.
Garrido Productions, Inc. distinguished itself with a comprehensive repertoire, boasting expertise in lighting, sound, and DJ management, solidifying its position among the foremost event DJs in the Chicagoland area.
Collaborating with renowned production entities like JAM Productions, James P. Productions, and Paulette Wolf Events and Entertainment, among others, DJ Joe Garrido forged a reputable path in the industry.
Notably, DJ Joe Garrido showcased his talent by opening for illustrious artists such as Cyndi Lauper, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, KC & The Sunshine Band, Earth Wind & Fire, Duran Duran, and Rupaul.
Drawing from over two decades of experience, DJ Joe Garrido extended his artistry to collaborate with leading fashion designers, wedding planners, and event venues. His DJ performances graced fashion shows and events for prestigious names like Neiman Marcus, as well as the most prestigious Black Tie affairs in Chicago, along with hundreds of upscale weddings hosted in chic restaurants and premier event locations across the city.
In 2021, DJ Joe Garrido relocated to San Francisco and launched "Z GrûvZ EventZ and Entertainment," a new DJ company that carries forward his wealth of experience and musical talent to the vibrant Bay Area and beyond.
