I'm excited to share that I’m stepping into the next chapter of my business life alongside some incredibly hardworking women. Many of these women have inspired me over the years, even if they didn’t realize it. Having stood on the sidelines for my career, I knew this was the year to join the Women's Economic Development Council of Huntsville.

Thank you to those who not only inspired me but encouraged me along the way.

As I venture into this new phase, I look forward to collaborating on initiatives that promote economic growth and support local businesses. My experiences have demonstrated the immense potential we have when we uplift one another. If you've been waiting on the sidelines, I encourage you to step forward.

I'm very excited to announce that I will be joining The Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC) this year!

Being part of this community has played a significant role in my business over the years, and this organization has been one of my favorites.

🍁 In November, it will be one year since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had scheduled a routine visit, which led to a series of exams.

Interestingly, I was also scheduled for Hormone Therapy before my diagnosis. If I had completed the therapy before being diagnosed, I would have faced serious issues.

This experience taught me two important things: first, that I am the most important person and taking care of myself is a priority, and second, that finding love in what you do is crucial because life goes by fast.

November will be a six-month checkup and exam after the surgery and radiation.

So, take it from me: go and take the exam! 🎗️

I truly enjoy this event and the inspiring messages from incredible women such as KC Bertling, Ruchi Gupta Singhal, Michelle Novosel, JoAnn M. Perez, and Ina Wilson Smith.

Over the years, collaborating with Jennifer from the WEDC Foundation on all the marketing, including the program book, presentations, and videos, has made this a truly magical and inspiring night.

Plus, getting all dressed up and seeing all these beautiful people makes this one special night at the WHW2024!
