The HAND The Hand Magazine is a quarterly publication for artists working in photography, digital, and print media. We hope you will join hands with us.

Our goal is to provide artists an outlet to publish their work and reach a wider audience. The Hand Magazine is dedicated to being the world’s premier forum for innovative and experimental uses of reproduction-based media. We are interested in how artists include their own hand in the art object while utilizing mechanical or reproduction-based techniques. We are interested in publishing any and al

l forms of photography and printmaking; whether the work is strictly a photograph or print, or whether the work incorporates these processes in a sculptural, multi-media or collage format. In addition to the magazine itself, we also commission artists to create limited edition prints in photography and print media. These prints are sold at a reasonable price and include a copy of the magazine. We want to promote unity between the printmaking and photographic communities while also providing work for artists and a chance for enthusiasts to begin or add to their art collections.

This throwback Holding Hands Across the World was submitted by a reader who wishes to remain anonymous. In the background is Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Both the US Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were debated and adopted inside. Here’s wishing for freedom and independence all over the world in 2025. Our reader is holding issue 32 with a cover by Megan Ratliff. Issue 32 featured interviews with printmakers Tres Gatos Press and photographer Mikael Siirilä.
