💀~Art vs Artist 2023~✨

You know, all things considered, this was a pretty good year. 🖤
I did face some major art blockage from residual burnout, chronic illnesses, my husband’s spine surgery, and an intense commission schedule in the early months~
*But* I was also able to reconnect with my art & my goals, start my webcomic, refine my evolving style, and pull myself OUT of said art-block (thanks to Baldur’s Gate III)! 🙏

It was a year full of tough love, but invaluable lessons.
Most important among them, I now have a better understanding of myself and my autistic needs, and of the kind of rest I need to be giving my mind and my body.
(I say this all while sick again x,,D)

2023 feels like the end of a long chapter on self-acceptance & self-growth, and though the last few years have been hard, I’m more excited than ever to turn the page and see what awaits now that new inspiration is in bloom~🌻 Ready & eager for change!
