Guido: Well, they don’t want Jews and dogs in there. Everyone does as they please, Joshua. Look, there’s a shop over there, a hardware store: for example, they don’t let in Spaniards and horses. And then there’s a pharmacy: yesterday I was with a friend of mine, a Chinese man who has a kangaroo. I asked him, “Can we go in?” And he said, “No, we don’t want Chinese people or kangaroos here.” They don’t like them—what can I say?
Joshua: But in our bookshop, we let everyone in.
Guido: No, starting tomorrow we’ll put up a sign too. Who don’t you like?
Joshua: Spiders. What about you?
Guido: Me... Visigoths! And starting tomorrow, we’ll write it down: “No entry for spiders and Visigoths.” Oh, I’m really fed up with those Visigoths. That’s it, enough!

𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 | 𝗧𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗪𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻

the last time i left our little shelter made of twigs, i said, "i'll be back." but the next day, the leaves were dry and the spot was gone. a house has now been built there with a little garden in front. i lingered around for a trace of what had been, but all i found is a solace of afloat memories. i guess i was just gone for too long.

we have it in us to leave a part of our childhood—the innocence. you are halfway somewhere out there: you are somewhere halfway of life. the little yellow dress will never fit me anymore. we've outgrown bedtime stories and fairy tales. we were girls and boys together. but the playground got rusty, and the crayons melt. we both used to have long hair, but when i saw you, you had it short and red. we used to be so little that we'd fit into the gaps of the school gate. but eventually, we've outgrown each other.

we meet someone new, create a new circle of people, create new bonds, and buy new matching things. high school was a wreck, and everyone always had gossip to spill. the beads of the pink bracelet are still somewhere out there, buried in the dirt. i cried when i broke it, but the string was already brittle anyway, and it did not fit my wrist anymore. we've outgrown swings and coloring books. my gals and i ate from the same lunchboxes and liked the same music. we followed the trend and promised to stay close forever.

but sometimes, we outgrow friends. we do not have the greediness to retain everything that we can lose.

sure, some parts of the past remain, but we cannot pack everything in our suitcases. the apartment i rent only has a small closet and a single table. college is a disaster. everyone is a zombie apocalypse movie character. my Facebook shows me memories from years ago. sometimes i click reshare; sometimes i don't. i sigh when i see it. we live in different cities now. we've outgrown crushes and hairbands. we study on other campuses, and we discover different paths. we outgrow friends.

sometimes when i miss you, i wear pretty clothes. i always picture us in cotton pajamas. the last time i slept in your house, you wondered if ponies were magical. during the campfire, you asked me about a boy that i liked. now i'm with my new friends on a sleepover—we talk about life and career. we were girls and boys together. silly ignorant teens together. but somehow, we outgrow things. life is always an open door waiting for us to leave. i couldn't possibly wear the same clothes and accessories i wore when i was young. i couldn't perhaps fit you in my suitcase. growing up is a motion of leaving. and some friends get further and further behind.

to all the friends we've outgrown, wherever they are, i hope they do not forget. i hope they see us in the children playing outside, in the group of noisy youths eating at a fast-food restaurant, and in the set of different colored bracelets sold at a street stall. there is comfort in remembering that, at some point, we shared the experiences of being young.

Pay attention to the color of the stove flame..

If the flame is blue, this means that the combustion is effective, as the gas and oxygen mix well.

If the flame is red or orange, this indicates that the combustion is incomplete, which may lead to increased gas consumption, blackening of the pan, delayed heating, and accumulation of dangerous gases.

Therefore, it is necessary to open doors and windows and ensure good ventilation during cooking.

The reasons for incomplete combustion are:

- Blockage of fuel passages and ventilation systems.
- Improper installation of the stove.
- Failure to clean the gas stove regularly to remove rust, soot, scales, and dust.
- Insufficient pressure in the cylinder.
