UPDATE: The contractors for the HGTV Dream Home on Anastasia Island just received approval -- after the fact -- for the construction of a bulkhead. The St. Augustine Planning and Zoning Board gave the approval Tuesday afternoon. The developer built the bulkhead without going through the proper city approval process. The developer still needs to deal with the St. Johns River Water Management District for a different aspect of the project. First Coast News

In a sea of millions of clear lights in downtown St. Augustine, at least one multi-colored light is found and removed every day. Someone's sneaking them in.

They say the dumpsters are full of shells, and some of them still have live animals in the shells. "It makes me want to cry," says one neighbor.
