The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Gravity has released his official debut album, “Best Revenge Is Success.” The album contains 8 original Gravity tracks for an approximate total listening time of 30 minuets. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the rap artist record label “VividVision/2TFMMENT” .Gritty, genuine, and lyrically aggressive, “Best Revenge Is Success” showcases Gravity as one of the most intriguing rappers from the dirty south this year so far, and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Corpus Christi's Gravity cites as main artistic influences Scarface, Baby Jesus, Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony, Kevin Gates, Eminem, NWA, Tupac Shakur, the Notorious B.I.G., and DJ Screws very own Screwed Up Click. Gravity's own sound takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before. Gravity's record is definitely a personal one, but it's not just a journal of urban poetry. It's a microcosm of growing up in a cruel, often violent setting, where criminal behavior is often seen as the most promising way out. In the end, Gravity's tale is as much a personal one as it is a story of the disadvantaged youth both in the United States and abroad.
