WE ARE DEAD RELIGION!!

The first time I heard the term “family of choice” it hit me right in the feels. I’ve always said sometimes blood isn’t always thicker than water.

The term “family of choice” refers to people who may not be related by blood but who provide the love, support, and connection associated with family. These are the people we choose to have in our lives, who stand by us through thick and thin.

From a biblical perspective, the concept of a “family of choice” can be seen in the New Testament, where Jesus redefined the idea of family. In Mark 3:35, Jesus says, “Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” This suggests that our spiritual family is not limited to biological ties but extends to those who share our faith and values.

In my life, the “family of choice” has had a profound impact. While I’m grateful for my biological family, my Dead Religion family has been a source of support, encouragement, and love during challenging times. They’ve been my confidants, prayer partners, and companions on my spiritual journey.

We are not related by blood but we are related by the blood! Our shared faith, values, and love encourages me to cultivate meaningful relationships with those who uplift me, pray for me, and see the best in me even when the worst has been displayed.

We are Dead Religion and we can’t wait to do life with you!
