Flag Football
In Jackson we trust. Bucs receiver Vincent Jackson in sweet slo-mo, feeling patriotic. Jackson is a long-time supporter of the military. This seems like an appropriate clip to share on the 4th.
Alaska Challenge 2015
Very honored to see these wounded veterans struggle and overcome. Phil Celli, Roland Vaughn and I spent time in Alaska with Combat Wounded Veteran Challenge and witnessed some serious perseverance. Happy Veterans Day. http://combatwounded.org
Key West 2015 Challenge
Honored to work with these veterans. Combat Wounded Veteran Challenge takes veterans and pushes their boundaries. They also assist in research for orthotics and prosthetics as well as traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress. http://combatwounded.org
Off in the distance, behind a cloud or two is Denali. It's officially renamed from Mt. McKinley, apparently Pres. McKinley never actually visited the state. We broke out the drone for a some sweeping vistas during a shoot.
Arri Amira revealed
Looks like Arri just unveiled something truly useful, a camera that doesn't need a ton of optional equipment. Interesting choice for a leading maker of cinema equipment, they're now in the documentary world. Doesn't this just make sense?
It's Jerve Everywhere! This promo for WFLA was shot last summer by Tampa Freelance Videography, but seems to have just recently gotten noticed. Producer John Doyle, meteorologist Steve Jerve and I hit the road over two days to compile all these shots. A bit of challenge, but a lot of fun.
USF Footy
Tampa Freelance Videography visited USF to catch their soccer tournament and test some equipment. The Panasonic GH2 HDSLR isn't suited to fast-action sports, but I coupled it with a broadcast camera lens. That made for some fun shooting.
Here, it's Florida Gulf Coast bringing the heat to the Iona Gaels.
Welcome Back promo
A promo for NBC affiliate WFLA in Tampa. Shot with the Letus Depth of Field adapter on the Sony EX1. Down-converted to 4:3 standard def. HMI lighting and daylight balanced Kino Flo's were used.
Just want to see the quality of uploading a quick clip to the fan page. This is from the NBA ref interview I referenced a couple of days ago. Standard def, 16:9, with lots of daylight balanced lighting.
