Tehsildar Zachaldara visits various Eid Gahs to review Eid arrangements & sanitation status and Conducted Market Checking.
Acting upon the directions of Worthy Deputy commissioner Kupwara, Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, The Tehsildar Zachaldara, Syed Basharat Rasool today visited various areas & Eid Gahs of Tehsil to take stock of facilities and arrangements being set up there with regard to the upcoming Eid-ul-Zuha celebrations.The Tehsildar visited Eid Gah Zachaldara , Turkpoora, Khahipora etc among other areas and interacted with Management Committees there and took appraisal of Eid Arrangements.
He instructed officials of line departments especially RDD to take up sanitation drives and ensure cleanliness around Masjids, and shrines.
Arrangements for water, power supplies and traffic management in the Tehsil were also discussed and instructions were given to line departments to ensure all necessary arrangements during the Eid Day.
Later Tehsildar along with team of Food Safety Department, Health , Food civil services and consumer affairs conducted market-checking in main market Zachaldara & fine to the tune of Rs: 4500 stands imposed and received from erring shopkeepers through food safety department.He also directed Naib Tehsildar Zachaldara for intense market-checking of major areas for keeping close check on market operations especially ensuring safe and affordable sale of commodities to the consumers.
