Disneyland just announced that their 70th Anniversary Celebration will begin on May 16, 2025 and will run through summer of 2026. Lots of details were released, including:

- Theming added to Snow White’s Castle
- “Paint The Night” parade returns to Disneyland Park on May 16, 2025
- Red Car Trolley closing at Disney California Adventure on February 8, 2025 as construction starts for Avengers Campus
- “World of Color Happiness!” debuts on May 16 at DCA
- “Wonderous Journeys” comes back to Disneyland Park and “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” returns to DCA on May 16, 2025
- “Walt Disney - A Magical Life” debuts in Disneyland Park on May 16, 2025
- Soarin’ Over California returns to DCA February 28 - April 21, 2025 as part of the Food & Wine Festival
- “90s On Parade” will debut at Disneyland Park on March 4 & 6, 2025 as part of Disneyland After Dark: 90s Night

BREAKING: Muppets to leave current location and take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster!

I’m very sad to see The Muppets losing their own area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including MuppetVision 3D.

I’m also sad to not hear Aerosmith anymore on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, but this was bound to change, and I’m happy they went with The Muppets for the retheme.

Official news below is from the Disney Parks Blog:

“To make way for the monsters, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and more of their friends will be moving right along to Sunset Boulevard! But there’s more to the story: The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, teaming up with some of music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival!

We know so many of you share our love for The Muppets and know their energy will be a perfect fit for this coaster. Plus, as the first Disney ride ever to feature The Muppets, there’s sure to be laughter, screams and new tunes for this attraction for fans to enjoy throughout the adventure and plenty of Muppets-themed merchandise on Sunset Boulevard!”

This year's fair was really fun. After a few years of going and experiencing the fair, we finally came up with a plan that ended p being perfect - get there right when the fair opens to take advantage of the short lines for the rides. That way, when it gets busier in the evening, you've done all the rides you want and can experience the fair in all it's nighttime glory.

Fairs and carnivals are some of my favorite things. They don't appeal to everyone, but there is something that feels so nostalgic to me seeing the lights on the rides as they swing into the nighttime air, smelling the different foods over the midways, and checking out the exhibits for animals and locally-produced foods and arts and crafts.
