Shoutout to Addison Niday for creating this incredible live painting during Augusta Rocks Fest on Saturday night! He wanted to donate his NEVER GIVE UP painting to us to auction off to raise support to the Salvation Army Center of Hope Nonprofit.

The silent auction will be live tomorrow at noon and will close on Monday Oct. 17th

Last weekend one of Augusta's local artists, Addison Niday, created a beautiful and powerful live painting during our fundraising event called Augusta Rocks Festival. We are raising money for The Salvation Army Center of Hope to help the homeless community in the CSRA.

He's the founder lead tour guide at Cole Watkins Tours. He's been in the tour business in Augusta since his time at Augusta State University - awhile, if the school name didn't give you that hint!

We talk about the growing outdoor industry in Augusta, the national spotlight that Augusta / Columbia County received for promoting the kayaking spots that we have, and his day job (because he isn't busy enough) working with the world-traveling company Aggressor Adventures, which has taken him ~literally~ around the world.

David leaned into his passion for the tropical concept, while Chris stuck to his cereal themed recipe.

Davis has somewhat of a non-traditional story for DropTheDis, as he is not a local business owner that one might recognize from their signs on the street, and he does a lot of his work with clients outside the city, but he is helping to put Augusta on the map - the music map.

He works with local artists like all the way to artists in Norway, as well as a few celebrities whose names you'll likely recognize.

They talk about the founding, growth (including a new restaurant to the area), and the Jones Creek opportunities and programming that are open to the public every week.
