"Don't muzzle an Ox Treading Grains", It is Biblically an Abuse by Itself
By Manyang Duany Jok,
Bor, Jonglei State, South Sudan, August 18th, 2024: If the truth has to be told, every South Sudanese knows full well that among nonmembers of ruling elites, there is no fair treatment in the areas of service delivery to the benefit of self or for public good, even though playing it wholeheartedly right, that somewhere there is someone who routinely, intentionally tends to "muzzle an ox that treading grains", ( a rat is too small to shoulder it) by depriving many of their hard labor dues, putting survival at mercy of ones' discretion; mistreatments compel unpaid security forces to join armed civilians in the poaching business of bush meat, causing harm to the tourists' attraction creatures and in other hand, leading others among them to make living through charcoal production, creating an indiscriminate deforestation, which serves as an attack on both environment and of the trees of natural fruits to extinct and in other circumstances of the same nature of not dealing with the welfare of the nationals, the nation 's unemployed youths who fall within the range of employment ages hold fast to the series of gang activities at the sequential mode of committing aggravated robberies on valuable materials from the rest of innocent citizens, that includes inflicting injuries against passersby or pedestrians at cities streets instead, with no law enforcers at will to respond to deter them. However, where hunger takes its toll, it doesn't require specialized knowledge to feel, believe and to discern such as a cycled results of failed system to have control over its humans' needs. Respecting articles on punctual payment, is a better tool to tame working humans or others, not to be ill-treated like slaves and to take laws by their own hands; however, to "muzzle oxen treading the grains", it is an abuse by itself on industrious ones and this at anytime poses a fear of imminent threat on humanity by putting lives at perpetual risks of violence crime and that is why it is biblically condemnable to work one without payment. I hope the fattest rat should tell his dad to do better than this for improved and the trusted security to reign in this country. May God continue to bless South Sudan, I pray.
