Workdays are a lot easier with John Deere's new GATOR 845M helping out. The new Gator is a whole different beast than previous models, with more refinement, easier maintenance features, increased capability, and a MUCH larger cargo box! So far, we're highly impressed! We'll have a full review soon!

Ready for a new kind of adventure? We're in Ontonagon, Michigan at Miller's Cottages on the shore of Lake Superior and ready to hit the trails tomorrow in the Polaris Ranger Kinetic. It will be the first test of the Kinetic on the trail, and of Michigan's electric charging program for ORVs. We can't wait!

It's a great day for ATV riding. We're in Richfield, Utah to try the new Kawasaki Brute Force 750. We've got snow, mud, mountains, and rocks and the Brute Force is ready for every bit of it! We can't wait!

KAWASAKI is proud of their new RIDGE Side x Sides. They should be. It's a very well built machine with a smooth running 4-cylinder engine, and a beautiful cab interior packed with features. Today we're testing it at the Hatfield-McCoy system.

Few can match Corry Wellers driving skill and a house full of racing trophies. She's also an outstanding test driver and she's recently discovered a way to extend the mileage range on the new Can-Am Maverick R. As always, you're on your own trying to keep with her though.

Got to spend another weekend in my new Maverick R - absolutely loving this machine in the dunes! Another plus I have discovered is when I drive in Manual mode I can short shift throughout the day if needed and extend my fuel range by a LOT. 🤘🏻

Yesterday was the first day in CFMotos huge, new headquarters near Minneapolis and we were there for the introduction of 2024 models. Today we're testing them out. If you haven't checked out a CFMoto you need to soon. They're already a global leader, and coming on strong in North America. Congratulations to Chad Linville of Kentucky on this beautiful buck he was able to take for a ride, and harvest with his bow. Its not how we normally treat our passengers, and it''s the first time we've seen this unique way to haul game, but with a rack like that, why not? We are wondering if he used a racing harness, or the factory lap and shoulder belt.

It's a great day to ride new Arctic Cats! After a morning plant tour and meeting, we're encouraged about Cat's new direction. We're now off to Bemis Hill, Minnesota for a day of test riding. Hitting the road with Donna Beadle, two-dozen donuts, a gallon of coffee, and 3 dogs! This road trip is exactly what you would think it would be. Awesome!

NEW TRAILS TO TRY! We've been exploring Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula with Kawasaki's great KRX 1000 the last few days, and it's been spectacular riding! The Keweenaw ATV club has put together an excellent trail system. The trails are well maintened, clearly marked, and offer spectacular views. They take you to the very tip and shores of Lake Superior. The next stop across the water: Canada. Local towns are incredibly friendly, and this area should be on every riders bucket list. Yes, it's that good, as is the KRX 1000 and KRX 1000-4

Today the off-road world has a serious electric vehicle, and that vehicle is the Polaris Ranger XP Kinetic. We've been testing it near Elk Lake, Wisconsin, and have been highly impressed. Three power modes, an all-new transmission, and a long list of the usual great Ranger features all upgraded for the new Kinetic make it an excellent machine. SO HOW DOES IT DRIVE? It's FAST!! Think General or even RZR acceleration in Sport Mode. And it's equally quick in reverse, thanks to the electric motor mated to a new transmission, via a cog style belt similar to what Polaris uses in their RMK snowmobile quick drive system. Shifting is also vastly improved at the lever, and a thumb s switch allows the driver to switch from Forward to Reverse easily. The suspension has been updated as well for the slight weight increase. So far battery life has been excellent. We LOVE the torque and acceleration though! It's a new day in the off-road world.

Never trust the depth of a muddy hole at a public riding area. They're ALWAYS waist deep as this Defender driver found out earlier today. And that's not your average trail rescue person. That happens to be Valerie Windsor, Can-Am's marketing manager for Off-Road. She's definitely living the Can-Am outdoor lifestyle! Of course she got it out!
