Hi Folks! I received a call this morning from production friends at Dos Rios Films about a PSA (Public Service Announcement) they are filming regarding Productive Freedom and Voting Rights. I feel strongly about both issues and so here is the info if you would like to participate:

Casting Call
Seeking Actresses and non- Actresses be in video PSA’s
supporting the fight for Reproductive and Voting Rights
Summary
Local Seattle film production company Dos Rios http://dosriosfilms.com is working with the Non-Profit: Feel Good Action (https://feelgoodaction.org) to produce a PSA campaign focused on Reproductive Rights and Voting rights. We are seeking 3 women of varied ethnicities to participate in a Reproductive Rights spot, called ‘Past/Present’ and dozens of women of varied ethnicities to participate in a Voting Rights PSA’s, called ‘Multiplicity’. Please see shooting scripts below
Details
Each participant will be asked to read several lines straight to camera. That’s it. The lines do not have to be memorized and no acting experience is necessary.
Age Range: 18-35
Ethnicity: Open to all
Shoot date/time: Tentatively 5/22/22, but may push to later in the week, TBD. Exact Time can accommodate your schedule. We will need you for no more then ½ hour.
Location: TBD, but within the Seattle city limits
Usage: This will be used online (no broadcast) to promote reproductive rights for up to 2 years
Compensation: We are asking for volunteers; however, we will be happy to share downloadable files of final videos for your personal use.
Notes: We are not looking for experienced actresses. It is more important to get natural
reactions then professional reads. All are welcome to participate.
Nuts and Bolts
Participating in the Reproductive Rights – ‘Past/Present’ script is a little more involved and requires a cell phone video audition. Participating in the Voting Rights – ‘Multiplicity’ script only requires showing up and giving us a few minutes of your time. All are welcome to participate in one or both scripts.

-at least one photo
-your contact info including phone # and email address
-a cell phone video of you reciting the following lines to camera. (see full script at the end of this document)
It’s OK to read these from your phone or a piece of paper, as long as you are addressing the
camera

I was terrified laying on the kitchen table (looks up, a little confused) Kitchen Table?
I had no anesthesia
He was very scary. Was he even a Doctor?
I don’t remember much except being in that room, cold alone and crying.
