If you read enough history, you are bound to absorb a deep appreciation for resilience.
The team at Bozzi Media, who publishes Nostalgia Magazine along with Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine, is giving our own resilience a whirl as we push through a brutal scenario where the owners/publishers of this company (Vince and Emily Bozzi) have both passed away due to complications association with COVID-19 leaving us a little numb and, still, in disbelief. Our business bank accounts have been frozen for nearly 8 weeks now, and other succession complications have arisen.
Our team has worked without pay—even using our own funds to keep aspects of the business up and running—since January 1. In spite of the challenges, we remain patient and committed to continuing the production of the publications we cherish creating as reflections of the best of our community.
We appreciate your patience as you await your February/March issue. It is in production and will be published and mailed out to our subscribers soon. Any of the subscription issues from the last issue should be remedied this time around, but if you have any questions, concerns, frustrations or feedback, please don’t hesitate to email our editor and interim publisher, Stephanie Regalado, at [email protected].
Thank you for the honor of your continued readership. None of this matters without you.
As an ode to other businesses who have worked their way through challenges and successes, we share some legacy business stories from the city magazine a few years ago.
In gratitude,
Stephanie, Kristi and the Bozzi Media team
