The last two days and other organizations like held events to celebrate a real close holiday to the Mexican community and that is Día De Los Mu***os aka Day Of The Dead.

We weren’t able to attend any of the other events in town but we sure hope you all had the chance to experience at least one of them to learn more of a beautiful tradition that has learned to incorporate different things after colonization.

As you can see even tho the roots of this holiday is rooted in indigenous traditions and ceremonies people have embraced their new found imposed religious beliefs and sharing their love for their loved ones all while staying rooted in tradition.

LVMPD Lieutenant Aguirre badge #9645 told the community to go on public property, so organizations did so all while marching their way down to the press conference.

As someone who has formally experienced such “less lethal” options I can assure you that when one is shot at you, you become disoriented and above all loos focus of the moment and reality.

On February 26th, 2022 organizers of various organizations alongside the mother of Isaiah Williams took on the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The community is demanding justice for the ex*****on of Isaiah Williams when LVMPD served a poorly surveilled no-knock warrant early in the morning of January 10th, 2022.

Weeks after the warrant was served and Isaiah Williams was murdered City of Las Vegas Government tells the community that the supposed suspect they were going for is no longer a person of interest nor a suspect.

On January 10, 2022, executed someone who had nothing to do with the crime of murdering someone outside a bus stop.

An innocent life was taken in the name of finding a killer of another murder, the fact is that has said the main suspect whose apartment was where Isaiah was staying at had nothing to do with the murder.

Even tho they have admitted they have fu**ed up, still has said nothing to the family of Isaiah Williams nor have they stepped out in public to ask for an apology from the community all while praising murderers.

Last night mother of Isaiah Williams went down to ContainerPark to demand justice for her son who was murdered by LVMPD on January 10th, 2022.

Alongside local organizations, the community stood in solidarity with the family to demand justice.

The community took the streets to demand justice and to demand an end to no-knock warrants, as many working-class humans are being denied their 14th amendment through these sorts of warrants.

Breonna Taylor, Amir Locke, and Isaiah Williams all three have and we’re denied their 14 amendment right as humans living within this “free” nation.

Make sure you call your local representatives today no matter where ever you may be and demand that they put an end to no-knock warrants as they go against the 14th amendment not to mention the 4th and 5th.

after a great turnout of events to do what Jorge Gomez enjoyed doing which was community service, the community got together at a local park in town.

At this event, one could witness the saying “by killing one of us you unite us all” firsthand as the community was able to come together with such amazing diversity not only from social groups but organizations and grassroots groups.

More Than A Hashtag and other organizations put together an event filled with activities and amazing food catered by the great

Cori Bush stopped by to listen to story first hand by his mom and to get to know the other two mothers present who had their children executed by LVMPD as well.

This is truly the power of well organized grassroots movements that care about the people and community and not about tax breaks or kickbacks by the donation loophole like many politicians or NGOs love to exploit.
