Welcome to “All the Lonely People”

All the Lonely People started as an idea for a short film five years ago. The idea was the publish a novella the same time a short film was released online to create an immersive visual experience. The novella was written as was the script for the short film.

Things happened, the idea faded into the background of life: moving, job changes, kids.

Recently the story reentered my mind. Unfortunately the original manuscripts were gone. I hunted every online source I could think of until I found a PDF of the novella tucked away in a Facebook Message sent a few years earlier.

Re-reading it, I saw how influenced my writing was by who I was back then, and frankly, it wasn’t that good of a story. So I took the framework, the foundation of what that story was and rewrote it.
