This group was started by a great mix of classmates coming together to plan a weekend of fun for one and all! We wanted everyone to come together, share a meal (or two), listen to a DJ spin tunes played by the original artists from "our time"! We had so much fun planning, we hope everyone will stay in touch and make our next reunion even more of a success!
We are sad to lose our classmate Fred “Willie” Pettus, Jr. Willie passed away last night from realities issues. So many people have such kind words to share. Those who knew him early in our lives called him Willie. More people called him Fred. All would call him a special human being! His Father, his son, more family and friends will miss him!

We lost our classmate Hank Carter on Sunday, February 4 this week. Sandy, Hanks younger sister said Hank was born 12/9/56. He moved to FL after their mom died and had been with Sandy for the past 5 years. He loved to hike and be outdoors. Hiked about 1500 plus miles of the AT and every trail in the Smokies. “This is a hard one and I miss him terribly. He was a sweet gentle kind soul”.

A Memorial Bench has been placed at the Arboretum for all of our Classmates that have gone before us.
Committee volunteers found the perfect and best bench location.
If you are at the Arboretum, look for a new bench in the Holly Collection. There is a small pavillion in this area, and it will be getting lighting and electricity before our next reunion.
This bench was paid for by a Special Class Account for Cares and Concerns.

Her dedication and efforts played a significant role in our meetings. She will always be remembered by our group for her leadership and organizational skills. I am not sure I am doing this correctly but I want all of Kim' s friends to know she passed away today, November 22 around 2:30pm. Her heart just gave way. She was my oldest friend. We had been friends since birth. Our parents were friends so that is how we met. I was just talking to her last night about how we were going to face time opening our Christmas gifts together. Her presents arrived today. Please send prayers to Bill and Elijah.
