Charleston mom Morgan Matkovic wrote the children’s book “My Sister, Lila Lee” to help her older daughter, Maddie, understand her younger daughter’s autism diagnosis.

“The interesting thing about this book is that I wrote it to explain autism to my older daughter, and yet she understands her sister, and autism, probably better than anyone, simply because it is all she has ever known,” Matkovic said.
