We are delighted to welcome Cypriot composer Artemis Aifotiti to our catalog with the publication of her Bagatelles for solo bass clarinet (2024). Bagatelles was written in 2024 after a Consortium Commission organized by Culturetones. It was premiered by Clarinetist George Georgiou at ARTE Music Academy on June 14th 2024. The piece consists of two contrasting movements, each one presenting the instrument’s unique abilities. The first movement is calm and lyrical demonstrating the ‘vocal’ aspect of the instrument while the second movement is playful presenting the virtuosity of the instrument.

Thank you to the consortium members for making this work possible: George Georgiou, Julia Heinen, Lara Diaz, Sarah Watts, Angelos Angelides, and Iro Michail.

Visit our website to learn more, listen to the premiere recording, and buy the music!
