Join Ken Hippler as he commemorates the 70th Anniversary of the passing of Country Music Legend Hank Williams on New Year’s Eve – Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 3 p.m. Central [2100 UTC] on HPR1: Traditional Classic Country.

This special presentation will feature a combination of Hank’s studio recordings and his radio presentations such as his “Mother’s Best Flour” shows, “Health and Happiness” shows, Grand Ole Opry appearances, and an “Aunt Jemima Home Folks” show.

This Hank Williams celebration premiers during “Good ’N Country” on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 3 p.m. Central [2100 UTC] on HPR1: Traditional Classic Country. Immediately following this premier broadcast, you can listen to this special anytime on-demand on the Good ’N Country show page.

In the meantime, our app is no longer listed in the Roku Channel Store, and it has been disabled by Roku on most (if not all) Roku players. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

"Good 'N Country" will present Ricky Skaggs recorded live in concert at the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee! It will air beginning in the first hour and premier on Saturday July 30th at 3PM central time. Ricky and his band are in top form and his ace musicians included Bobby Hicks on fiddle, Ray Flacke on lead guitar and Bruce Bouton on pedal steel. Trust me-you won't want to miss it!

He was an advertising executive whose spoken-words songs about truck driving and CB radio became unlikely hits in the 1970s.

Hello country music fans. I have just been informed that the multi talented Bobby Flores has been diagnosed with stage IV esophageal cancer. While he may not be a household name outside of Texas, he is a gifted vocalist, fiddler, steel player, arranger and producer. He has also helped many other artists, some of them signed to his label Yellow Rose Records. Please join me in prayer for Bobby and his family as he battles this awful disease.
