Albertville City Schools release statement on incident that occurred Wednesday morning at Albertville High School:

We want to inform you about an incident that occurred earlier today at Albertville High School.

School officials were contacted by the Juvenile Probation Office (JPO) regarding two students who were found to be in violation of their parole due to images and videos of weapons on their phones. As a precaution, the school was placed on a soft lockdown while we located the students and conducted a search to ensure there were no weapons on campus.

Our School Resource Officers (SROs), along with K-9 Loki, responded promptly and provided valuable assistance. No weapons were found, and there was no threat made toward the school or anyone on campus.

The situation was resolved quickly, and normal school activities have resumed. We are grateful for the support of our law enforcement partners and the cooperation of our students and staff.
