Check what i got in the mail! collab with : Cherry Slurpee Tw***ies!

If you didn’t notice these on 7/11 day when you were grabbing your free slurpee, then that’s probably cuz these were hiding in the store. They’ve been out for a minute and every time I see them it’s usually near the coffee or ice cream. Why not put the display RIGHT next to the Slurpees OR on the checkout counter?!?! Is this true for all locations or is my local 7-11s just dumb for this.

Also, the taste on these is good. They captured the most important part of the Slurpee IMO. That tart/tang taste accompanied with an overly sugary sweetness. Remember tho, this is still a Tw***ie. You’re not drinking a Slurpee. Check your expectations.

Some of you may recognize the name, others may not. BUT, the fun people at sent me a promotional box to showcase their latest drink (just in time for ) Hard Soda Pop!

NYF’s Hard Soda Pop comes in Lemon Lime, Cola, Cherry Cola, and Strawberry Vanilla. While I haven’t had a chance to try all the flavors yet (it’s only noon as I’m writing this) I did think they tasted just like they sound. Great job, NYF’s. I personally don’t drink the hard soda/seltzer stuff because I like beer too much, but these were def better than some of the others I’ve tasted.

If you’re interested and looking, these should already be popping up on midwest shelves—I saw some at Jewel-Osco/Albertson’s recently. I believe the official state list (as of now) is ID, IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, OR, PA, WA, WI. Being a midwest producer, I would imagine this is just the start and if it takes off, they may expand.

Side note: NYF’s Root Beer holds a special place in my heart for various reasons, but when a small town brewery (pun intended) out of Wauconda, IL gets HUGE hype and goes nationwide (technically worldwide), I’ll always back them.

For some, this is HUGE. has launched their sauces in-store! They sent me a free sample since I’ve never had Zaxby’s. (Don’t @ me, lol)

It’s primarily a southern chicken chain but they’ve been expanding through the years. The closest may be Indianapolis, but even thats a 4hr trip for me. . If you had to compare this chain to someone who’s unfamiliar, it’s probably best to say they’re direct competitor to the FIL-A brand so many people know. They offer chicken in various forms; wings, fingers, sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and newly, tacos! Plus, they have multiple sauces; Zaxby’s sauce, Spicy Zaxby’s, Tongue Torch, Wimpy, Sweet & Spicy, Buffalo Garlic Blaze, Hot Honey Mustard, Nuclear, Strawberry, Avocado Ranch, and a bunch of other classics.

To all those looking to grab these 3 on shelves (and only these 3, no other sauces are coming yet) check SOUTHERN Walmarts, Kroger, Winn-Dixie. If you’re not in the south near a Zaxby’s, you can grab some on Amazon too.

I love sauces, so I’m hyped for these. I actually take the FIL-A sauce and add something spicy to it all the time, but now I won’t have too. Tho Zaxby’s is different than it’s competitor, it’s still a great sauce for chicken and in it’s spicy form is excellent. Huge thanks to Zaxby’s for sharing all 3. I hope you launch more next year!

The kind people at sent me free samples of their oat milk-based queso(s) and spray cheese! I know not everyone is a fan of spray cheese/can cheese/aerosol cheese, but I grew up in the 90s and this is part of my childhood. Plus, with my oldest daughter being lactose intolerant, she and I are always down to try non-dairy cheeses.

First to try was the queso blanco and the medium queso. Like many milk-alt queso dips, it did not have a strong cheese taste and seemed watery, but that’s typical from what I’ve seen. I have yet to find a queso that’s just like the real thing. These were ok overall but not my major interest. I really wanted the spray cheese…and they didn’t disappoint.

These are classic canned spray cheese. You can tell in the classic cheddar flavor that it’s not real cheese flavor, but it’s tough to notice in the smokey one! The smoke element masks the cheese taste a little and impressed me. The classic cheddar was really good but the smoky cheddar was great. I killed the little cracker pack and then hid the smoky can in my office. Lol. My kid doesn’t get it and I’m not going to try and explain.

Great work on the spray cheeses ! Find these online and in some Fresh Market stores, Whole Foods, and other similar specialty stores.

Please note: this local grocery store is more Italian than most and has a wonderful selection of global ingredients and items. There’s a very good chance you will not find all of these things in your average big box grocery store.

I want to start with an apology to for not sharing this closer to the 4th of July BUT in my defense I was on vacation and the box literally arrived as I was leaving. Lol.

I thought I shared this, but I must have forgot! Big shout out to for sending free samples of their hydration drinks AND energy drinks. I’d never drank Prime prior to this. It tastes pretty good! I can’t say I feel more hydrated or more energetic than others, but the fact that I’m getting the benefits of what they promote, I’d call that a win! Thanks Prime!!

BIG shout out to for sharing their latest and greatest drinks with me (for free). I’ll be honest, I’ve never had Alani Nu energy drinks before and these were good! I especially love the mini cans, cuz maybe I don’t need 200mg of caffeine, I just need 100?!! Lol.

Of the 4 flavors shown (Peach, Pink Slush, Orange Kiss, and Cherry Twist) I liked Orange Kiss the best. Probably because they were trying to make it taste like Sunkist and they nailed it. Lol. Thanks for the free samples, Alani Nu!!

Oh man! I forgot to post about the latest release ONLY found in and . Infinite Swirl is the flavor name and it boasts a pineapple and berry flavor profile that I can confidently say ROCKS. I love when Mountain Dew adds in pineapple and any berry flavors they’ve made are usually winners too. So this combo is already up a peg IMO and it delivers. I get big Slurpee vibes and I think thats on purpose and I’m not complaining. Great stuff Dew. Keep um comin!

Obviously found at my local 7-11 cuz thats one of the only places they’re sold. Lol.

Pain is Good. An excellent name for a hot sauce IMO. These guys sent me a free sample after we chatted about their main hot sauce they are known for: Da Bomb! (As seen on ).

Going down the rabbit hole, the company makes a TON of hot sauce and spicy things. In the Pain is Good line, they have 33 products of all different flavors and levels of spice too. Some a REAL unique like Trinidad Scorpion BBQ sauce, Harissa, 100% Pain, and Garlic Bloody Mary mix—to name a few. They have more too! This was just the Pain is Good line. There is even a Kansas City Grillers Pack for fans (they live near KC). Idk, I’m impressed for a company I haven’t heard much about initially. Bravo.

Now, about the sriracha. I was only able to taste one drop because the shipper busted the seal on the bottle and I didn’t want to risk anything. So, I just tasted a tiny tiny bit. Lol. It was good from what I tasted. So really, I’m just here to share the news that the makers of Da Bomb Hot Sauce from Hot Ones, also makes a bunch of other sauces. I was a free sample from and didn’t think much of it UNTIL I did a little research. Hear me out if you have 2 minutes to read this.

I know youre thinking, big whoop, “another chicken nugget maker,” but they have history. 2 major things to note: 1st—Pilgrim’s is a global company and one of the largest chicken producers in the US. So, they aren’t brand to chicken. 2nd—They also make . That’s the chicken that people are comparing to a major brand with the “fil-a” in the name and claiming to have the best organic chicken in the freezer aisle. This is the same company! (Just not organic and more affordable, lol.)

So, let’s talk chicken! They sent me their classic Ultimate Nuggets, the Cheesy Jalapeño Nuggets, and the Zesty Ranch Mini Nuggets. Not pictured is also a Classic Mini Nugget, a Buttery Nugget, and a Chicken Pot Pie Nugget. They have quite the line-up and nd they’re good! I air-fried mine and they didn’t explode from cheesy, they remained juicy and tender, and had a good breading and crunch. Definitely worth a try, IMO. I want a real spicy one tho. The Zesty part of the ranch was not spicy, it was herbaceous and the jalapeño is a fresh jalapeño taste, not a hot one. Let’s see a buffalo or a Hot Honey Nugget eh??

The fun elves at sent me a free promo box for their latest collab and I’m conflicted for which I’m more excited about! The return of the tasty Rocky Road Fudge Stripes, one of my fav cookies. Or the Despicable Me 4 coming out on July 3rd?!!

With this promo box, I get to celebrate them both! But I don’t think the theaters will let me bring in a whole sleeve of these Fudge Stripes while I watch it. Fun fact about these cookies, there are 4 unique designs based on the characters. The more important fact: the chocolate & almond shortbread cookie still has the marshmallow fudge drizzle on it. .

I’ll go on a rant later in my threads, but can we acknowledge the flavor idea here. is rolling out a new Smoked Butterscotch coffee flavor in K-cup form. I bet they’ll have other forms for this fall flavor, but huge props to Starbucks for tweaking a flavor an elevating it just a little more (note: I like smokey things) and a bigger kudos goes out to Nic for finding this on Walmart shelves already.

Yes, this is a fall flavor dropping in mid-June. If you didn’t pick up on the first line of this post, this is the topic of my rant later. Fall is fall. Not before the first day of official summer. Get your act together Starbucks.

Craft. Butter. Such a weird concept but at the same time, not weird. I bet this is probably good. So, I blame the label of “craft butter” that’s making it seem weird to me. Why not specialty butter or artisanal butter or just flavored butter?! Idk, it’s just my take. What do you say?

A giant in the spreadable space has accepted the challenge to create their version of the greatest combo known to humans. Peanut Butter & Chocolate spread.

Not sure if I’ll get a sample or not, but I did see this on shelves at my local in both jar and to-go forms. I’m still waiting to taste some and I’m slowly losing it. Haha. Have you tried this? What’s shakin’ e’rybody? The creative people at @yumteingummy sent me a sample of their protein gummy bears to try, share, and review with all of you. As a quick background, I have zero experience in non-traditional gummies, but I have TONS of experience in your average/classic gummies. So, let’s eat! They have a total of 7 different varieties but only shown here are their 3 popular flavors, strawberry, blue raspberry, and green apple. Not pictured is cherry, pineapple, watermelon, and grape. Quite the lineup for quite the gummy. I won’t get overly detailed on descriptions but I will say this gives off local-small batch vibes. Like they spent hours making these and years perfecting their recipe so it’s the right texture and squish AND flavor. #LoveThat As for taste, I thought I’d love the blue raspberry the most but I actually loved the strawberry the most! My guess is because they use REAL flavor. It tastes like a real strawberry and same for the green apple. Since the Blue Raspberry everyone knows/loves doesn’t directly grow on trees, this one hit different. STILL GREAT, but man, there was something about a fresh strawberry taste in that gummy that was perfect. Now we can talk everything else! High protein (like 15 gram per bag), low carb, low sugar, no added sugar, no added artificial flavor or colors, AND gluten free. And using a whey protein isolate in these really put these in a class of their own. It’s impressive. And to be 100% honest, they are more expensive than regular gummy bears. BUT if you really are about the #betterForYou lifestyle, everything will cost a little more. The very nice people at @coffeemate sent me a sample of their new Golden Grahams Creamer. I’m happy to say it tastes like Golden Grahams milk too! (Obviously thicker tho). That sweet, honey-like note which coats the cereal comes through front and center on this. Then the milk/cream and graham taste round out the flavor nicely. Adding this to a nice light roast coffee will provide the buzz and help the flavors shine through too. . Coffee mate also has a Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treat Creamer on shelves AND a new vanilla bean creamer AND a Zero Sugar version of the Cinnamon Roll one from before.
