One of the worst practices to come out of game developers today is the practice of releasing unfinished games. Either they release a game with parts unfinished, or the rush and forgo the proper testing and patching. They also express release dates long before the testing phaze has even begun.

Halo Infinite is a perfect example. 343 studios dropped the ball and many should lose their jobs. No Halo game is complete without Co-op. Every Halo game thus far has included it. It was planned for the launch of the game, but was scrapped so they could get the game in players hands for the micro-transactions on multi-player. The campaign was buggy as hell initially, and couch co-op was scrapped altogether. Too many studios out there like this. They feel they have to follow the multi-player arena trend and rush their product out. They sprinkle in micro-transactions to grab every dollar they can and themln focus on the QC after release. It is destroying the experience for the gamers and causing gamers to skip games on release day.
