Hey there! 👋🏾 Long time no speak! As you all know, about 6 months ago I made the decision to leave my television news job in San Francisco…after nearly 18 years in the business. 😱

It was a scary decision. But a necessary one. And I honestly and truly had NO IDEA what was next.

So I spent several months on a bit of a hiatus, figuring it all out.

And here we are now. I just wanted to update you all…this is where I landed about a month ago!

I’m one of the Public Information Officers for the Orlando Police Department, where I’ll still get to do what I love: informing the public of important information whether it be through social media or storytelling. So far so good in this new role and world!

P.S. I still have to read through all of your messages. But I’m SO grateful for all of the love!
