WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler has suffered a medical emergency and is currently recovering in a Florida hospital after undergoing surgery. The details are still unclear at this point on whether he suffered a stroke or it was a result of blood blockage within Lawler’s brain, but our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this difficult time.

Dave Bautista hopeful for HOF induction after three year wait.

Bautista has been hoping to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for three years now. At the premiere of his new movie "Knock at the Cabin", he was asked about his Hall of Fame status, to which he replied, "I hope so, but I can't say for sure. I can say that I'm trying. I am trying."

Batista was originally set to be inducted in 2020, but the ceremony was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When the 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame classes were inducted the following year without fans in attendance, Batista was unable to participate.

In a tweet from March 2021, Batista expressed his disappointment, saying, "To the Unfortunately due to previous obligations, I am unable to be a part of the this year. By my request, they have agreed to induct me at a future ceremony where I’ll be able to properly thank the fans and people who made my career possible ."

Batista retired from wrestling in 2019 following his no holds barred match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35. The Hall of Fame ceremony is taking place on March 31 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will occur after SmackDown. This will be a special event for Batista, as it's the same arena where he defeated Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 21.

WWE CEO Nick Khan speculates sale of company will happen “quick”

WWE CEO Nick Khan appeared on CNBC's Squawk Box on Friday and stated that he feels a sale of the company will happen "quick" and speculated a deal may be done within three months. The CEO's statement followed the company's earnings call on Thursday, which prompted the question about a potential sale.

Dave Meltzer had previously reported that the company had been hoping to sell by mid-summer. When asked about potential buyers, co-host David Faber mentioned NBCUniversal, Netflix, Amazon, and Endeavor who owns the UFC. Khan said that the company is "still bullish on Comcast (aka NBCUniversal) being possible" and explained that they received a "warm reception in the marketplace from those who are interested."

Khan also explained that they didn't want to wait to sell the company until after the next TV rights negotiations as that would take prospective buyers off the table. He repeated that there would be "no issue" with Vince McMahon not being involved with WWE post-sale if it's the right deal for the company.

According to sources familiar with the matter, McMahon's potential future involvement in WWE has become an early sticking point in preliminary talks with various buyers. The question was first asked publicly of Khan during the Q&A portion of Thursday's investors call, to which Khan replied that McMahon would be willing to depart post-sale if that meant the best value for shareholders.

The speculation of a quick sale of WWE has left fans and industry experts alike eager to see what the future holds for the iconic wrestling company. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.

In a now deleted tweet, a Microsoft store data miner uncovered what seems to be the release date for . The tweet indicates that the game will be released on Friday 3/17/23, St. Patrick’s Day. The data miner also discovered an image that COULD be the cover of the upcoming game.

Report: Matt Riddle is allegedly heading to rehab following a second failed drug test in .
Riddle failed his first drug before Summerslam, postponing his match with Seth Rollins to Clash at the Castle.
After the first failed test, WWE informed Riddle that another failed drug test would result in a Rehab or Fired scenario.
After Riddle was written off TV for 6 weeks, Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.Net reports that Riddle is now heading to rehab following a second failed drug test. While it’s not determined what drugs came up on the tests, It should be noted that WWE no longer tests for ma*****na.

According to PWInsider, is reportedly bringing Sasha Banks to Wrestle Kingdom 17. It is still unclear if Banks will be wrestling or in front of fans in any way, but Sasha did tease a match with KAIRI, in late October on Instagram.

Chelsea Green, Matt Cardona, and JONAH could all be making a return to WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer, internal talk within WWE is that Chelsea Green is expected to make her return soon as she finishes up her time at Impact Wrestling, while WWE has offered JONAH a contract to return to the company, no official word if either of the two have put pen to paper.

While talks are brewing about JONAH and Green returning to WWE, Matt Cardona has taken to Twitter to post a series of pics highlighting the career of Zack Ryder.
