Masters of Entertainment revealed their new logo and Halloween setup for Warwick Fire Company's annual open house on Friday October 11, 2024. Hundreds of people attended this event which promotes public safety in a fun family-friendly forum. It was a great night!!

It's 7:00 pm on a Thursday night in Warrington, PA. By now, 20 or 30 people have made their way to their seats to get ready for a multi-sensory music experience called "Shared Voices". These unique individuals sing, dance and play instruments, expressing themselves freely.

Before becoming a part of the special needs world as a stepfather to a now 43 year-old special needs man, I had, like many, some trepidation in conversing with these individuals. Many are high-functioning, meaning they can carry on a conversation, work at different jobs, and in some cases, live on their own. There are many others who have unique challenges... but are they really challenges or are we the ones who are challenged? Interesting question. The next time you are around a special needs person, give them a smile, say hello and be sure to acknowledge them in some way. You might be incredibly surprised.

I've learned more about kindness and listening from this group of friends then I have from most anything else. The doors are always open for anyone who wants to stop by and experience this amazing collection of different spirits. The music program provides a safe place for everyone to let down their hair and be joyful. I do hope you'll stop by. We'd love to have you!
