An investigation began after Connecticut police were advised by the Hampden County (Mass.) State's Attorney that a sexual assault had allegedly occurred in Haddam.

State police say Dylan Martin, a 21-year-old Southington man, sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl from Massachusetts at his family's Haddam residence.
