What happened to the money?

Simply put, that’s what a forensic audit of the Johnstown Community YMCA’s financial records seeks to determine, according to a representative of the auditing firm hired by the Town of Johnstown to conduct the accounting investigation.

Since the towns of Johnstown and Milliken reserve their fireworks shows for BBQ Day and Beef n’ Bean Day respectively, they do not host a fireworks show to celebrate the 4th of July. That should not stop you from celebrating the holiday, though, as other places in northern Colorado have fantastic festivities planned.

BIG BACKUP on I-25 southbound because of an accident.

For a little more than a month, the Weld County Department of Public Works will be working to replace a bridge deck and guardrail on Weld County Road (WCR) 48.5, about a half mile west of Colorado Highway 257.

As a result, the Weld County Board of Commissioners approved the temporary closure WCR 48.5 between WCR 17 and the highway from July 7 through Aug. 22. The detour route can be viewed on the Weld County Road Advisory Map at https://apps.weld.gov/publicworks/roadadvisory/.
