Scattered showers, mostly on the light side, will continue at times Friday evening and into the overnight. Have the rain gear with you if you're heading out to a high school football game! The showers will linger into midday Saturday. -David
A weak area of low pressure over the Western Gulf of Mexico Wednesday will move to the northeast over the coming days. The result will be plenty of cloudiness for the Wiregrass with increasing rain chances. Showers develop as we head through Thursday, with rain at times Friday and Friday night. Temperatures will be well below normal. Look for the moisture to depart Saturday morning, with better weather for the weekend. -David

Ernesto continues to organize and is on the verge of becoming a hurricane Tuesday night as the center passes north of Puerto Rico. The system will turn northward over the days ahead, remaining over the Atlantic, with major hurricane status likely by the weekend. Bermuda will need to monitor Ernesto closely. -David
