What does humanity need to work on to make our world a better place?
Answer from Theresa Callard-Moore, CEO of Consumers 4 Wellness, Episode 70
"I was going to say compassion, and that's probably the answer. It's so easy to define ourselves as I am not like you, or I am like you, one of the two, right, that's how we define ourselves, and if we're looking for compassion, we're really looking into that person's heart and soul and saying how are we like one? That's really what that's about. So, that's what I practice in my office, that's what I practice in my personal life, and that's what I think humanity could work on."
Interview with Theresa Callard-Moore, a Holistic Psychotherapist and the CEO of Consumers 4 Wellness.
Consumers 4 Wellness is an organization set up to help consumers reach out to their legislatures regarding what they would like included in their healthcare plans. The goal is to create a better healthcare plan for holistic, integrative modalities that help the whole person. Each person has about $11,000 in healthcare dollars each year, yet many plans do not include chiropractic, massage, reiki healing, nutrition, sexual health, or other alternative options. By joining Consumers 4 Wellness, it will create a base of information and knowledge on what types of wellness programs consumers want in their healthcare plans. Then Consumers 4 Wellness will be a platform that can push for changes in our healthcare system.

What does humanity need to work on to make our world a better place?
Answer from Sharon Valenti, a Relationship Coach with Is It True? EP 58
"Taking care of themselves, getting to the point in their own life where you are at peace within yourself. Just like this point that I've gotten myself to, largely not being triggered anymore. When you are peaceful within yourself, that is already is spreading out. When you think of the peaceful people that you're aware of in your life, and let's say somebody like Mother Teresa - no, we don't have to be poverty and working with lepers and things like that, or we think of a very peaceful woman doing good in the world, right, or Eckhart Tolle with his books or anybody else, Gandhi, we don't have to wear a loincloth, and we don't have to go down to just nothingness - but don't make your things be your master. I'm a believer we can master our thoughts and not let our thoughts continue mastering us. That's what I teach, and so many people are allowing their thoughts to master them rather than the other way around. So when you achieve that peace within you, that peacefulness, that calmer demeanor, that stop looking at the news and realize you're causing your suffering. People see you, and they want what you have, and so they just want to spend time around you, and eventually, you rub off on them, if that makes sense, and that's how it spreads. So, focus on you first and just trust the process that as you evolve, you're going to be a magnet for people. They'll want what you have."
What does humanity need to work on to make our world a better place?
What does humanity need to work on to make our world a better place?
Interview with Guerline Jozef, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Haitian Bridge Alliance…
Answer:
"I say, love. I believe that love is one of the most beautiful things, and I believe that love conquers all. Love, you know, love your neighbor as yourself, love, just, just accept the person for who they are. And there’s a song - share a little bit of love, right, and let, let the next person know that you care."
Lanie: "Right, gosh, and then I remember another thing that you said was it helps to put yourself in the other person's shoes and try and understand where they're coming from."
Guerline: "And that's the part of love, right? Self-love, loving the others, for me that has always been true to put myself in the other person's shoe, and that has allowed me to understand where they're coming from, what they are dealing with because the surface things is, is can be so, such a mask, right? And, being a mother, a mothers feel what a mother feels; that's putting yourself in the other person's shoe. What if it was me? What if it was my son, you know who is just locked up in there? What if it was my mother? How would I feel? What will I do?"

What does humanity need to work on to make our world a better place?
Interview with Nancy, a Denali National Park Tour Bus Driver…
Answer:
“Get along with each other. I mean at least in this country, we are very badly divided right now. If we don't figure out a way to get on board with each other then we're, we're doomed. We need to find some common ground where we can agree with each other and start to move forward from there. I just think that we're a pretty hurting nation right now.” “I would agree.”

What does humanity need to work on to make our world a better place?
From my interview with Carolle Vargas, a cancer survivor…
Answer:
“I think that humanity today has divided itself just by religion, by nationality, by so many different things, and we’re all one. If we climbed inside each other's skin and looked out we’d have a whole different take on it, and just being more loving and caring and trying to find ways to help instead of finding a reason why they are that way - and it's a much warmer world. I also think too, that I have to say that there's a lot of good stuff going on in the world. I think we just should turn our televisions off. The media won't like that but it's only about the bad stuff and I see good stuff. I mean when I go to the grocery store, I saw ten people that were polite and considerate and thoughtful and helpful and it's all there, it's just making it be there more often.”

What does humanity need to work on to make our world a better place?
From my interview with Dr Kaur, a Naturopathic Doctor with Tustin Longevity Center in Tustin, California…
Answer:
“I think maybe we all need a little bit more compassion and understanding. That yes, maybe if somebody wasn’t nice to you this day, they’re going through something, right? Because they’re not purposely trying to hurt you. Maybe they had a bad day, they got in a car accident. So, just having a little compassion for them and understanding. You know what, it’s okay, they’re having a bad day. We will try again tomorrow.”

Short video from interview with Sharon Valenti from isittrue.com. She is a Relationship Coach.
Text from short video:
But the reality is, we put a lot of pressure on other people to fulfill our needs. We've been taught to look outside of ourselves for the approval, for the love, for the like, for the support. And it's not; it's not the other person's job to do that for us. It's our job. Right. And people will argue that. No, my husband, you know, he needs to support me. Now, I'm in his business again. It's his business how he is around me, and if you think about it, the other person never really has anything that we want or need that we cannot give to our self, and that is a true statement.

Short video clip from my interview with Casey Waesche, author of the children's book called "I'm The Boss Of Me." This book will help little ones learn how to be in charge of their body parts: such as their mouths, arms, and legs. It teaches children personal accountability and responsibility. The book also teaches diversity and inclusiveness, personal safety, and body autonomy.
Casey has had quite an eclectic life, from managing a band and touring the US & Europe in her 20's, planning large-scale events and festivals, fundraising for the NFL, and starting and running small businesses. She has traveled the globe and has many interesting life stories to share.
The creation of the I'm The Boss of Me children's book happened when her son was seven years old. He came home – again – with a note from his teacher saying he had another "outburst" in class. (This time, it was calling the teacher a liar in front of the whole class.) She asked him why this kept happening, and he said, "It's not MY fault, Mommy. My MOUTH did it!"
