From Tyrone Events & Promotions: Members of Northern Blair Roundtable of Operation Our Town spent their day learning more about AMTRAN by experiencing it firsthand yesterday. The group boarded at Penn Highlands Tyrone Hospital and rode to Walmart where they got off and had lunch at Valley Dairy and then retraced their trip back home. All agreed it was easy to ride, actually comfortable, and so reasonably priced. The most they waited for the bus was maybe 10 minutes or less. And the drivers were incredibly helpful. They came away excited that AMTRAN gave Tyrone this option, and opened up service. They rode with those going to work, going to school, going shopping, going to medical appointments etc. and they heard that often seniors from the different facilities will ride just to get out and have lunch or for a change of scenery. Thanks AMTRAN for helping Tyrone serve its people by providing our community this service.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with processing of the The Daily Herald for today, Wed., Sept. 27. All the papers went out, but some went to a distribution center instead of the main post office. It may take an extra day or two for some customers to receive their papers. We are assured that this is a one-time mix up, and everyone should get their paper within the next day or two. Delivery should be back to normal for Saturday's paper. Thank you for your understanding.
