Knocked out a quick brass keychain for a friend. After using lasers for 6+ years you’d think it would get old. It doesn’t. This is a fiber laser capable of permanently marking a variety of metals, plastics, and stones. Love this machine. If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask. I love talking about my lasers.

Getting to the end of the powdercoating class posts. I really got to meet a lot of new people but it was also nice to see people I’ve known for 5 years show up. and his wife I first met in 2017 I believe. Maybe 2016. As always, tag yourself or someone you know. I would love to remember everyone’s name or Instagram but I’m still working on that skill.

The story of would not be complete if I didn’t take some time to brag on this girl. She was reluctant and excited about going. Not sure if there would be anything she could do. She helped at the booth with assisting people weld up flower kits, she made 2 of her own. She did leatherwork. She made a zipper bag with She spent a bunch of time at the booth learning from and to top it off she helped in my booth. She may have done more but I didn’t get to hang out all day everyday with her. She is amazing.

The Maker Swap had so many amazing entries, I would have been happy with any of them. When I saw who made this and all the time and effort that went into it I was overwhelmed. This is a functional piece of art that I will cherish forever. An heirloom. I was absolutely the luckiest person in the Maker Swap. I’ve been a fan of Leah’s art since hearing her on Repost from Ok sooo me and made a pair of pitcher plant monster bottle openers for the maker swap . We even made some crazy wall brackets for them. All hand forged and fabricated steel. It was so damn fun collaborating with Jay on this project. We made two to throw into the mix- one from each of us. See you there! 🤘🤘🤘

More satisfied customers with their powder coated ornaments from it’s been a blast demystifying the powdercoating process for so many people this weekend. Time to head back out and man the booth again today. and have been amazingly helpful and I wouldn’t have been able to be so successful without them helping.
