Tri County's wrestlers saw their seasons end yesterday in the state wrestling tournament. Henry Holtmeier was 0-2, and Cole Spahr, Cael Washburn and Cooper Stokebrand advanced to the consolation semifinals before finishing their seasons. Good job to all.

Keith Kvasnicka advances to tonight's heartbreak round with a pair of consolation wins this morning. Jordan Marsh went 1-1, and Lane Vesely lost his consolation match to finish their seasons. Grant Eschiti won his consolation quarterfinal match to move on, as well. Keith and Grant join Zaiyahn Ornelas and Iverson Mejia, who are wrestling in the semifinals. Good luck tonight, gentlemen.

WC boys lead David City 29-16 at the half.

WC girls just tied the game with 27 points against David City with 15.8 seconds left in the fourth.

The Blast of Brass is performing as part of the Wilber Garden Club’s holiday open house at the Wilber Cultural Center.

Wilber VFD participated in a controlled burn training project in Crete on Oct. 15 along with the Hickman and Crete VFD’s. The house was sectioned off and used for interior training and identification of fire movement patterns before letting the fire develop for exterior containment techniques.
