This topic will be addressed at this year's Dr. King Breakfast on January 20th at Soldier Field. Since 1978, HSI has been a crucial Chicago-based behavioral health and human services organization that has helped thousands of individuals. Also joining us today was Jamil Muhammad from C.R.O.E, The Coalition for the Remembrance of Elijah (CROE) is an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the teachings and legacy of Elijah Muhammad, a prominent leader in the Nation of Islam through education, media, and community engagement.

On December 12th, HSI will host its 4th Annual Race and Health Equity Awards from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Malcolm X College. They will also premiere the documentary "Heading West 2: If the Lions Don’t Tell Their Story," highlighting the leaders and organizations dedicated to uplifting Chicago's black communities and emphasizing the importance of passing down our legacies to sustain progress.
