According Antoine Vey, Samuel Eto'o's lawyer CAF's ongoing investigation against Eto'o aims to create a “negative publicity” about the former Barcelona striker

He denied all the allegations saying

Yaounde :

A truck transporting cartons of eggs has been involved in an accident at the entrance of the Mvog-Mbi market in the Yaounde IV subdivision.

The truck reports say, crashed in the early hours of Thursday morning crushing two bikes in the process.

Inhabitants of the neighbourhood told Camer Today that while the truck was trying to manoeuvre and ascend the hill leading to the market, it malfunctioned and crashed into an electronic shop which was nearby.

They equally recounted that two bikers who were by the truck at the moment of the incident were fast enough to escape death as they jumped from their bikes before the truck collapsed.

The driver of the truck, inhabitants said, was rushed to the hospital in a critical state.

Camer Today got to the scene at about 9am as police officers sought to establish the state of affairs.

The state of the riders who escaped from the maddening truck is yet to be confirmed but as at now no deaths have been recorded. The material loss is yet to be assessed.

Optimising Global Blood Safety in Cameroon

A workshop by The International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) Academy and stakeholders is currently underway at the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services in Yaounde.

The session has as participants Blood bank laboratory staff, representative of voluntary donors’ associations and physicians (medical students, general practitioners, specialists and blood bankers).

The two day workshop aims to equip and empower participants with relevant skills in voluntary non remunerated blood donors (VNRBD) recruitment. Equip and empower participants with relevant skills in patient blood management concepts, appropriate blood (WR and pRBCs) use and transfusion injuries.
