Did you know that the CountryBear is one of the oldest country formatted internet radio stations? We've been doing this since 1999. We are an independent station not beholden to the corporate entities. We rely on support from small artists and labels to help fund our operations. Many of you have been long time advertisers and we appreciate you!

If you haven't advertised in a while, consider re-scheduling. It costs us a bunch to keep this running and we count on you helping!

CountryBear Rate Card

The whole country, well the world really, is in uncharted territory. Everything is in lock-down for the foreseeable future. Music artists can't do shows which is their main source of revenue. That leaves sales of their product as their only source of income. Physical sales of CDs are being limited by retailers like Amazon, leaving on-line downloads as the prime revenue source--- not a lot, but some.

Since the lockdown we have seen our streaming hours go up by at least 30%. With no sports to watch,and only only so much TV to watch, music has become the go-to source to relieve fear and anxiety. Advertising with us is not expensive and the exposure is terrific.

Since the CountryBear prepares it's playlists in advance, we are now finalizing our ad placements for April 2020.

We've been doing this a long time. The CountryBear was one of the first country formatted internet stations back when internet radio was in it's infancy.

We are entirely ad supported and thank all of our long time advertisers. Between equipment capitalization and licensing fees it is a financial challenge for sure.

Please consider advertising with us and if you don't have a current advertising schedule, let's start a new one !

We have kept our ad packages affordable too -- We haven't raised our rates since day one 20 years ago.

CountryBear Rate Card

I remember going to church as a kid and cringing every time the preacher began talking about how much money the church needed while he passed the basket for donations ( sometimes more than once).

Fast forward to today... We don't pass the basket per se, but offer a great value to get visibility for your music ( we haven''t raised our rates in 20 years trying to maintain affordability). Certain promoters call every week soliciting airplay for their artists ( that's their job) but rarely consider using us to help promote their artists. I guess they think we're not worth it or won't part with the dollars or whatever.... Then get upset when we don't give substantial airplay to their clients. NO Quid Pro Quo here--- if it fits what we what do, we give it real airplay.

Many artists use us and see the value. Most do not have deep pockets either. We appreciate them and do all we can to help.

If you haven't advertised with us, consider it. If you haven't used us in a while, come back home!

We've been doing this for 20 years--- believe me when I tell you we don't make big bucks but as long as we can pay the bills we will continue with our mission of getting independent artists heard----worldwide.
