NC State Student Media brought home 46 awards last month, including 23 statewide journalism awards and 23 individual awards, at the 2024 NC College Media Association’s annual conference. The conference focused on storytelling as a major theme. Four print outlets including Agromek, Nubian Message, Technician and Windhover all won best-in-show awards. Congrats to NC State Student Media alumnus and current board member Tyler Dukes, WRAL. Tyler and a team from WRAL won a Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas/Associated Press award for their piece on gerrymandering in the state.

Flowers receives Award for Excellence | Student Media at NC State

Douglas Flowers, who provides IT support for NC State Student Media was one of three recipients of the DASA Award of Excellence!

Doug Flowers, IT manager for DASA Technology Services, received the Award for Excellence at the Division of Academic and Student Affairs end-of-year ceremony April 25 in Talley Student Union.
